stuff in Photoshop

Hey everyone,

We started doing selections and altering pictures today in photoshop, and it was pretty interesting. I took at least 3 photos and lightened/darkened them. The pictures were from resident evil, god of war, and finding nemo. Compare the originals to the redos, and comment on what you think.

Starting Photoshop

Well it's been 3 weeks and a day since I started 2-d illustration and I enjoyed myself. I created different things for projects. I made a water bottle design, a bluegrass poster, and  a wedding invite among other things.

This week starts a new class which is Photoshop and I'm sure it's going to be fun.
Anyway, here's some of the projects that I've done in 2-d illustration:

First week of 2-D illustration

It's the last day of the first week in 2-D illustration, and it's been hectic, well not for me, but it also has been fun. From looking at the syllabus that we got from our teacher the next three weeks are going to be fun. This week we've had a group project to do: make an illustration of one of the seven deadly sins, and make our own font. Our seven sins piece is going to be entered into the Festival of Design here at Keiser.

The next three weeks we're going to have two projects and homework sketches due at the end of each week. I think it's going to be fun. This week has been very interesting, and the next three should be good. Back to the first week, we had to get 5 pieces ready for the design festival, and i got mine very easily. My original pieces were five of the web sites that I had done so far. then, I learned that I had to have my seven sin piece entered in it. I simply took out one of the 5 pieces and replaced it with my seven sins piece.

I really like how my seven sins piece turned out. A friend of mine had showed me how to add shines on objects that need to look shiny, and I started to think that I could do the same thing with shadows. The seven sins image is all original, and illustrates a squirrel gathering and hording nuts.
