Our Movie Posters

Hey everybody,

We just got done with finishing and printing our movie posters. They all came out pretty good and it was fun while we were trying to get it done. We made our posters from scratch with the exception of the idea we based it on. I based my poster on the first Matrix movie and it is really cool. I relearned how to do the lightning effect to be able to put it on my poster, and I drew my own buildings in illustrator. I drew one side of the building(windows, doors, and the buildings itself), copied/reflected it to the other side, then I grouped them together and rotated them to my satisfaction. I had everyone in the poster think how would they pose in a matrix movie and they did a good job. I spent a lot of time on getting rid of the green background on each the individual photos and I found it easiest(for me) to use the magnetic lasso tool, normal lasso tool, the eyedropper tool and the color replacement brush tool. I did at least six lightning effects to get that lightning up at the top. I just made a single linear gradient, inverted it, and changed the levels for the lightning effects.  I tried to get the "matrix" font , but the closest I got to it was by using the "Valdemar" font.

Here's the poster:
